A Collection of Canadian Fine Art at the Marriott Hotel

We are pleased to collaborate with the re-designed Calgary Marriott Downtown Hotel to present a collection of Canadian fine art. This collaboration between Webster Galleries Inc. and the Marriott Hotel brings quality fine art in direct contact with the general public.

We have hung over 30 pieces produced by artists represented at our gallery including Denis Chiasson, Shirley Elias, Réal Fournier, Alain Gagné, Fraser Hine, Ken Kirkby, Pieter Molenaar, John Rombough, Blu Smith, Nicole St. Pierre, and Dan Varnals. Head over today to see these stunning figurative and landscape paintings!

Marriott Hotel address110 9th Avenue SE

This collaboration is a wonderful opportunity to give more exposure to the Canadian artists represented at our gallery and the exhibition at the Marriott Hotel will rotate every three months with new works from each artist. Watch the video above to see a virtual representation of the show - a catalogue will also be available at the Marriott Hotel as well as at Webster Galleries Inc. Jamie MacDonald and Exhibition at Marriott Hotel

http://www.webstergalleries.com/searchresults.php?artistId=35797

Jamie MacDonald is a graduate of Queen’s University, B.A. (Hons.) and B.Ed., and a resident of Calgary, Alberta. He paints landscapes and illustrations, but also enjoys the occasional portrait. His goal is to reveal the unique story of each place or person, and to tell that story as best he can. Sargent, Klimt, and N.C. Wyeth can be counted among his influences. He has been a participant in a number of group and solo shows in Ontario, the Maritimes, and Alberta. Jamie finds time to paint while acting as a fencing coach, pursuing guitar and writing, and working full time as a teacher of art and history.
